I came across this piece by Julia Holter a couple months ago and liked it. However, upon recent further listening I am finding I like it more. It's definitely got some lo-fi aesthetics going on, but I like it. It sounds dreamy, far away, and old. The video I can't say much about, but as a pure song I'd say it's good.
It's a shame that many of us (myself included) have been spoiled by high-budget producing and recording in much of the music we listen to. It's hard to filter through what's production and what's song-writing talent. This is the latter. However, I should say that I am partial to this version of the song. The echoey, raspy harpsichord sound is great.
